Itinerary

Day 1 : ARRIVE JAMMU AIRPORT / RLY. STN. AND TRANSFER TO KATRA.

On arrival at the Railway Station / Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the airport it is a 120 minutes drive to Katra & check-in Hotel. Dinner . O/night stay at Hotel Katra.

Day 2DARSHAN (MATA VAISHNO DEVI DARSHAN)

after breakfast start trekking to holy shrine 13.5 KM for the Darshan for Mata Shri Vaishno Devi is believed to grant all the four

boons Dharm (Righteousness),Arth (Material Pursuits),Kaam (Contenment )and Moksh (Enlightenment)to those who visit her

holy shrine .She is considered to fulfil anything and everything that a person for in life,in a righteous way.It is an experience of

all,that no goes empty handed from her great Pilgrimage :.After the Darshan return back in the evening .Over night at hotel in katra.

Day 3 KATRATO PAHALGAM VALLEY

Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed you for Pahalgam the valley of shepherds by jeep the total distance of 96 kms will be cover in 6hrs.En- route visit the saffron field of Pampore and also visit the cricket bat factory where one of the best world famous cricket bats are made of willow tree by hand and enjoy the countryside drive through the pine forest. Horse ride will be given along the pony trails to see magnificent view of the mountains; explore the streets of Pahalgam. Evening check in Hotel / Resort. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel/Resort Pahalgam.

Day 4 : PAHALGAM TO GULMARG VALLEY

Morning after breakfast ,proceed you for Gulmarg  the valley of Meadows of flowers 156Kms will be cover in 05 hrs by jeep .Gulmarg has one of the best Ski Slopes in world, and one of the highest golf courses in world with 18 holes. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat and dominates the entire region.The view Enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating.  The Gondola cable car system, and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so and later do some horse-riding to the strawberry valley Gulmarg -Gondola ride will be given to the snow Peak, enjoy a cable car up to Alpather via Kangdoori by Asia’s longest run cable car ride (approx. 5 kms). Altitude wise, it is the World’s highest run cable car conquering almost 14000 feet. After an insightful day (On your Own) Evening check-in Resort/Hotel Gulmarg.

Day 5 GULMARG VALLEY TO SRINAGAR –

Morning visit some local places in Gulmarg. Afternoon drive to Srinagar and visit some shopping places. Evening check in Resort / Hotel. Dinner . O/night stay at Hotel Srinagar.

 

Day 6 EXCURSION OF DOODPATHRI VALLEY

Morning after breakfast ,proceed you for Doodpathri.The name "doodpathri'' means Valley of Milk. It is said that the famous saint of Kashmir Sheikh ul Aalam Sheikh Noor din Noorani has prayed here and once when he was in search of water in the meadows,to offer prayers, he pricked the ground with his stick to search for water and milk came out. He asked the milk that you can only be used for drinking and not performing ablution.Hearing this milk at once changed its state to water and the meadow got its name Doodpathri.The water which is at present flowing through the meadows has a milky appearance from the distance and remains very cold throughout the year.The lush green grasses over the vast meadows and silver shining streams running over the large stones further increase its beauty. Doodhpathri is sloping grassy landscapes with a diversity of multicolored flowers up to Chang. The famous Tosamaidan lies in the west of Doodpathri.Evening back to Srinagar and check-in Resort/Hotel. Dinner . O/night stay at Hotel Srinagar.

 

Day 7 LOCAL-SIGHTSEEING OF VALLEY

After Breakfast leave through the heart of New Srinagar city. The drive takes you past the Abdullah Bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum River, snaking its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir. Arrive and check in hotel welcome traditional Kashmiri Kehwa will be served first, and after fresh up,  proceed you  for Srinagar half day city tour visit the famous Mughal gardens and its bagh`s like Nishat Bagh built by Nor Jahan `s brother, Asif khan in 1633 A.D Cheshma Shahi and Pari Mahal-built by Shah Jahan in 1632 A.D and Shalimar Bagh built by Jahangir for his wife empress Nor Jahan & visit to Shankarya Charya temple known as Jyeswathra, occupies the top of the hills about (1000 ft) above surrounding the Takht-e- Suleiman plains of the east of Srinagar and as well asia largest Tulip Garden . Return back to houseboat and dinner will be served. Overnight stay in houseboat Srinagar.

 

Day 8 SRINAGAR TO SONAMARG VALLEY –

Morning after breakfast for Full day excursion to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way we stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. Evening check-in Hotel. Over Night at  houseboat Srinagar.

 

Day 9 DROP SRINAGAR AIRPORT / JAMMU AIRPORT/RLY.STN.

Tour concludes. Thanks you for your patronage. Transfer to Srinagar Airport/Jammu Railway Station to catch the flight/train to your onward Destination.
